Privacy Policy
Introduction
The department manager is responsible for the processing of the personal data we have registered and process in connection with your membership in department 730.
This privacy policy provides you with information about how we process your personal data and what rights you have.
Personal data that the department registers
Name, social security number, address, tax information, employment date, and salary history,
email address, mobile number, union membership, membership fee information, date of enrollment, department affiliation, and trusted positions within Fellesforbundet.
2.1 What the union branch uses personal data for
The basis for the processing of personal data is either that the processing is necessary to fulfill obligations related to membership, that we are required to process it by law, or that we have a legitimate interest in the processing that outweighs any privacy inconvenience for you.
The most central purposes for which the personal data are used are specified below:
Assist the member in civil law matters.
Have a secure system for legal documentation.
Administration of the member in accordance with the union's purpose as outlined in the bylaws.
In connection with the monthly reporting to Altinn.
Who do we share your information with
Altinn, LOfavør AS, Veiviseren, Magasinet for fagorganiserte,
Nets (payment reception to banks) and Fellesforbundet's member portal.
The union extracts email addresses for the distribution of newsletters to members.
The union extracts phone numbers for sending SMS messages to members.
Information is also extracted for the implementation of member surveys.
The department extracts email addresses / phone numbers for the dispatch of relevant information

Geographical storage of personal data
In principle, personal data are not stored outside Norway, but some service providers have data centers in the EU where GDPR is followed.
How long do we store your information
The department stores your personal data as long as it is necessary or we are required to store it by law.
Your rights
The privacy regulation grants you rights related to your personal data:
Although this privacy policy provides a lot of information, you can request more detailed information about how we process your data, and you have the right to access your personal information. If your personal data is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected. Personal data that we do not have grounds to process should be deleted, and you can request this if we have not done so on our own initiative. You can also ask us to restrict the use of your data.
If you believe that we are processing your information without a legal basis, you can file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, but we kindly ask you to contact the department so that we can consider your objections and clarify any misunderstandings.
If you wish to exercise your rights, please contactHead of Department in Dept. 730and your inquiry will, after the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has come into effect in Norway, be answered within 30 days.
